She is also a real estate agent part-time for Sandelands Realty. She has lived her entire life in the area. Paula Eklund Fisher is a certified residential appraiser, she has been doing appriasals in the area for over 16 years. She has also lived in the area her entire life.

Aitkin County is a very rural area with many lakes. Therefore there are many rural, lakeshore, high acreage and recreational properties in the area.  This can make it difficult to find GOOD comparables. With our knowledge and experience  of the area and the lakes we are better able to find good comparable and come up with more accurate valuations. Crow Wing County also has many lakes, including but by no means limited to the White Fish Chain and the Gull Lake Chain. These areas have many properties over a million dollars. It is a popular tourist destination. Mille Lacs Lake is located mainly in Mille Lacs County with the north and northwest shore being located in Aitkin and Crow Wing Counties. Mille Lacs is one of the most popular fishing lakes in Minnesota. It is a very large lake with a wide range of properties located on it.
